The historic Oliver Hill House required a commercial steel 42’’ high guard rail with 36’’ high, steel side-mounted handrail to help handicapped visitors. The simplicity worked well by not conflicting with the house. ½” sq pickets along with 1 1/4’’ sch 40 pipe were used and painted with aliphatic urethane paint.
